Celebrate the Fine Arts at Gatlinburg Festival

Pencils, brushes, and watercolors on table for arts and craftsIf you’re looking to spend time enjoying the mountain views while you stroll through a splendid selection of homemade arts and crafts, the Gatlinburg Fine Arts Festival is the place to be! From October 4-6, Gatlinburg will be celebrating the ninth annual Fine Arts Festival on the campus of the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts.

The festival has a variety of things to do other than shop the sidewalk galleries. Families will enjoy the live art demonstrations as well as watching the artists make beautiful handmade pieces of artwork.

Like most of the events in Gatlinburg, kids are welcome! There will be a tent where artists will help kids with small arts and crafts projects as well as face painting! The festival will have live music performances provided by Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales. Beverages and refreshments will be available for purchase.

The outdoor event will open at 10a.m. each day of the festival. On Friday and Saturday, the festival will close at 5p.m. and on Sunday, the festival will close at 4p.m. The festival can be found off the Parkway in Gatlinburg at traffic light #5.
