If you are a pet owner who is planning a vacation to the Smoky Mountains and are worried about leaving your pet at home, you will be delighted to know that Amazing Views Cabin Rentals offers a fantastic selection of pet friendly cabins! If you are still concerned the trip won’t be good for your pet, rest assured that there are plenty of ways to keep your pet happy while you’re here! Here are 3 great ways to keep your pet happy while staying in our pet friendly cabins in Pigeon Forge:

1. Get Exercise at the National Park

If you are planning to visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park during your vacation, bring your pet along for some exercise! While dogs are prohibited on most of the hiking trails, they are allowed in campgrounds, picnic areas and along roads as long as they are on a leash at all times. Note that the park requires that the leash be a maximum of 6 feet in length. There is one short walking path close to our cabins where dogs are permitted, which is the Gatlinburg Trail that travels for 1.9 miles from the outskirts of Gatlinburg to the Sugarlands Visitor Center. This trail offers gorgeous views of the river and the chance to see foundations and chimneys of several old homesites!

2. Visit Doggywood at Dollywood

We know that most of our guests staying in our pet friendly cabins in Pigeon Forge plan to spend at least one day visiting Dollywood. If you are concerned about leaving your pet alone for a full day in your cabin, you will be thrilled to know that the park has excellent accommodations and reasonable rates for dogs at Doggywood ! This facility offers a kennel and pet cottages that accepts dogs starting 30 minutes before Dollywood’s published opening time and is conveniently situated adjacent to Guest Services at the park’s front gate ticket area. When dropping off your dog, you just need to provide an adequate food supply, proof of current rabies vaccinations and verification that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Relax in Your Cabin

While there are many exciting things to do in Pigeon Forge, be sure to spend some time just relaxing in your cabin from Amazing Views Cabin Rentals! Your pet will love sitting by your side as you kick back in front of the fireplace to read the latest bestseller or to watch a favorite television program. Your cabin’s private deck is another wonderful place to hang out with your pet as you enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and the pleasant sounds of nature. When your pet decides to take a nap, hop into the bubbling hot tub for a refreshing treat or play a fun game of billiards with your family members!

Check out all of our pet friendly cabins in Pigeon Forge today to plan an awesome Smoky Mountain vacation with your beloved pet! We look forward to seeing you soon at Amazing Views Cabin Rentals!
