We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was spacious enough for our group we had a small issue but maintenance handled it all in a timely and professional manner. This is my 3rd year in a row staying with this company and I haven't been disappointed yet!

Cabin was in a great location. The cabin was very nice and everything from the kitchen size, the pool table, theater room and indoor pool. We will return, also will recommend Timber Top Cabin Rentals to friends and family.

Overall, the house was great & location worked out very very well. My only problem was the kitchen & lighting there. For the number of people we had, the kitchen was not very well outfitted with pots & pans. Could have used a couple of large fry pans and/or an electric griddle.Kitchen drawers & cabinets were totally disorganized! hard to find anything, easily. Plus the kitchen work area is extremely small. Because of the location of the dining tables, lighting was terrible. Also, 2 chairs at the high table were missing. Your your service staff for some minor problems were very fast to arrive and correct the problem. We generated a lot of trash and the pickups were done quickly.

Overall the experience was good. We did make a maintenance call on Sunday about missing curtains, were told someone would be out and no one ever checked the curtains. There are some issues with the cabin itself that if addressed would make it an excellent experience. 1. Cracks in outer walls in some of the bedrooms so that you could see outside. 2. Tech upgrade. The Internet needs to be better and the theater needs to be updated. 3. The carpet on the stairs tripped people up. We had 4 people slide down the carpeted stairs during the week. 4. Bathroom on the theater level has a gap between the shower and the wall. The drain in the shower gives while standing near it. 5. The sofa couches need to be replaced. Only 1 of the 4 couches in the main living room was okay to sit on. The rest were sunken into themselves. 6. Moving the hot tub to the pool deck would be great. It is very inconvenient to have to go through a bedroom to get to it. Also look at getting a bigger one or a second hot tub. 7. The thermostats on the upper levels kept resetting themselves to the high 70's/80's through the week. We had to constantly reset them to keep the top level cool enough to use. 8. Keep the fans we left in that cabin for those top two rooms. They were uncomfortable for some of our group to use due to temp. We had to buy fans so they could sleep. 9. Consider thermal curtains in the upper rooms to help with temperature. 10. Have a better list of what the kitchen has on the site. I emailed about small appliances and was told to bring it if we needed it. You had a blender and we brought one, you also had utensils and we brought those too. 11. Tiles around the pool are cracked and slippery. You need rubber mats before someone breaks something. 12. Check the weather stripping around the doors. Our bedroom had water come in from the patio door during a hard rain.

Everything was wonderful! Even our experience with the traffic situation extreme due to the Rod and Ride car show. Consider alerting guest to major events such as the annual car show, 4th of July and any other big attendance event when reservations are made which could have an impact on the guest experience.

I would have rated it a 5 because the cabin was absolutely beautiful and the amenities were great, but the place needs some upgrades to the furniture and updates done to the decor. Overall, the cabin was great, the maintenance man took care of our issues, and the customer service I received was excellent.

For the most part, we got what we paid for. So I can't complain. That said, the house is not really ideal or in the best shape. That's the largest cabin I've ever rented, yet has the smallest kitchen I've ever had. That is a tough kitchen to work with, when cooking for 16. The house and surrounding grounds were not terribly clean and the furniture is old and in need of replacement. All of this said, the house is called Pool & Theater. Both were great. We're not disappointed, in the slightest. But wanted to make you aware of our thoughts. Oh yeah, also the TV in he living room didn't seem to get a signal.

The cabin was great but floors were dirty. Our feet were black all weekend from walking on the floors. Everything else was good though. There was plenty of room and the children with us had plenty of room to play.

The good: clean, plenty of room for our large group, booking was great, check in was great, questions leading up to trip were answered, check out was easy, location was great. The bad: with cabins that big sleeping as many people as they do you really need a larger trash bin & I am generally ok with some noise room to room but when i can hear a full conversation being whispered in the room above me thats an issue. The ugly: PARKING IS STUPID! We had a fraternity in the cabin beside us. They had 15 cars there! EVERY time we left the cabin we came back to cars parked in front of our place. Every time our cabin or the people in the cabin on the other side of us left we had to play musical cars with them. We had 3 BIG vans and could easily park out of everyones way. NO we didn't complain to you guys it would have just made it worse with those guys. However, there has to be a remedy or someone to look out for all the groups. When you pay that much money there should NOT be situations like that.

Pool and Theater Lodge

Jason Marshall, Thank you for taking the time to fill out the guest survey. I apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. I do not see that you reported any issues with the cabins next door. If we had known we could have contacted their rental company to have the issues addressed. Your cabin only had parking for 4 vehicles so I would assume the cabin next to yours had the same, they should not have been taking your parking. I hope that you will allow Timber Tops to make your next church getaway a great one. Have a great day, Thank you,

You did amazing! We just would have clearly been told the cabin address since we did direct check in vs having to go by the office and get a bigger more legible map.
