What people are saying about this property
The cabin was very nice. We thought the cabin was accessible by the bottom entrance, but we worked with that. One of our party was handicapped but was able to make it up the stairs. The electrical plugs need to be addressed. It was hard for a device to stay plugged in.
Good
Come every year
Host was very helpful. Location was nice
It was definitely an amazing experience!
Second time we stayed In the cabin. Everything awesome and I’m sure we will be back.
It was a great distance from all the things we wanted o see and do. We thought the cabin could use a little TLC. The hot tub was great. We would rent this again if we decided to visit the area again.
Every thing was perfect..one thing wrong we wasn’t able to access the tv’s
Absolutely the best!
Booking, check-in and check-out process was detailed and easy to follow.
Very easy reservation and arrival process
Everything was great, only thing and not a big deal but the kitchen faucet did not work and the sprayer had to be use and it was run from under the cabinet into the sink. But did not take away from out stay.
The cabin was clean and well maintained.
Checking in was easy. The directions for getting into the cabin what are easy to follow. The checkout list was easy to complete, especially when we left early in the morning. The cabin was very clean. The location was great.
No problems, nice cabin!
Easy check in. Cabin was in great shape...only had an issue of a broken kitchen faucet but it was fixed relatively quick. Very nice setting. We had a great time!
Cabin was clean and comfortable. Excellent location.
The cabin was beautiful, clean, up to date, and a joy to stay in. Honestly, the pictures online don’t even tell how amazing this place is. You all knocked it out of the park!
Great company, easy to work with
The check-in and check-out was easy and speedy. The guest services was always helpful whenever we called with questions. Emails with details made this experience uncomplicated which made our trip enjoyable.
We had a great time!
From Booking to check out everything was easy and everyone I talked to was very polite and helpful. The cabin was beautiful with lots of room to spread out and relax. Close enough to town for convenience yet far enough to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway.
Very good experience.
Very comfortable spacious accommodations
Excellent
I have three kids to three and eight and they had a blast is a very comfortable stay
It was great
The cabin matched the pictures and we could easily access the company if we had any questions.
After a long trip there our house was ready early We had a great time
Cabin is clean and beautiful. Its very near to Gatlinburg main street which make it easy for commute.
Very clean, great amenities, kitchen utensils a little lacking.
very good , great people to work with on phone and email. done every thing correct. thanks
Very Accommodating
We really enjoyed the cabin, and the location. Each of our boys enjoyed having their own rooms, and on separate levels. Would definitely stay there again, and recommend to our friends and family.
Overall our stay was wonderful. We had a few minor equipment malfunctions with the cabin upon our arrival, but with a phone call they were remedied the very next day. Our 4 children( OK...and us adults had a great time in the lower level game room! It got competitively fun!!! We were also able to relax upstairs while the kids were having a ball(and a little loud at times I might add), however we were not bothered. There was enough space for my wife's parents to enjoy, for us to still celebrate our 18th anniversary, and the triplets (10/y.o.) and our oldest...almost 16...to enjoy each other. We had times of full interaction, and adult time. The biggest surprise was the 4 black bear that walked right onto our driveway to say hello!!!! Needless to say we just waved from afar! Lol! The second was the hills. There were some pretty impressive grades to overcome. I have a Ram truck and our parents a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and there were truly a couple of pucker moments! The North Clubhouse pool was the absolute best, with the best views!!! Highly recommended. And last but not least, please remember to lock your car doors. On our last night I was so tired from all of the swimming at the North pool that when I got back to our BearFootInn...I forgot to lock the car. Upon our departure in the morning my rear truck door was open...with bear paw prints across the back seat and on the front center console!!!! I didn't even know they knew how to open doors!!! Well we drove home with the bear juices...but the truck is scheduled for a full detail on Monday!!!!! Great Experience!!!!
The Cabin was clean and when something wasn't working right it was fixed efficiently. We really enjoyed our stay.
Excellent
Easy, Pain Free Booking and Check In. (Beer Foot Inn) Just for you all to know, the bottom floor bathroom tub is stopped up and does not drain.
Cabin was amazing. No internet connection no one could find the code for our cabin and maintenance didn’t really want to come to our cabin to assist.
The cabin as a whole was wonderful the only thing that I asked is that some of the furniture was quite worn and needs to be updated. I will definitely be back in the future everything from reservations to the check in was expedited.
That is an excellent cabin
The cabin was beautiful and perfect for a family of 4. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a getaway yet close to all attractions. We did see a black bear in backyard with baby in tow. Was truly amazing. Look forward to visiting Bear footin cabin again.
Cabin was really nice. We had a wonderful time. Our experience checking in the cabin was somewhat a problem.... checked in and they were going to call to let us know if cabin was ready.. they never called. Finally late in the day when I called them again, another person said, your cabin has been ready. Get to cabin and couldn't get In front door. Called and called... Finally got through and was able to get door code to get in.
The cabin was beyond beautiful. At first I was a little nervous because two of the beds had sheets with dry blood on them, but I washed them in the washer and it was fine. The only other thing that was problematic was we could not open the cage to put the trash outside. Other than that it was amazing and we can't wait to go back!
There were many, many great things about the cabin. My list of things that were "disappointing" is much shorter so I will just list those. First, the list of ammenities needs to be reviewed and adjusted. On trip advisor the cabin was still listed as having an air hockey table. I had learned by the direct website that this was no longer in the cabin. The other ammenities I assumed would be there, and was disappointed to find that wasn't the case. There was no PlayStation as listed, the wifi was not functioning, no darts for the dart board, and the main floor bedroom TV didn't have a cord long enough to reach the outlet in the wall. After 2 calls we were offered to have someone come out and assist in the problems the next morning around 9am. When not hearing anything by 9:45 I called for the 3rd time to only be treated like I had never called and told it would be after lunch before someone could be by. By this time my Husband had reset the router and the wifi was working, and we had used a personal extension cord that we had with us to plug in the main level TV. This allowed the TV to turn on but still had no cable service. Thankfully we had a few DVDs, (which movies were on the list of ammenities that was also not present)with us and took the DVD player from the lower floor to allow the 2 kids to have something to watch. When the worker did come (the first time) he did bring darts. It took a second visit to get the TV plugged in using a surge protector, but there still remained no cable service. I know this may seem trivial, and compared to cleanliness or other major issues I know it's not nearly as important. But when you are traveling with 5 children the ammenities were the number one deciding factor and for it to be listed and not present was frustrating, and for it to take multiple calls to get a few things corrected. My only other complaint is the hot water. Out of our 4 night stay I had a total of ONE full length hot shower. I understand that 7 people taking showers is a challenge, but a cabin that sleeps 10 and has 3 full baths should have more than 1 hot water heater to be sufficient.
Great
Reservation process a little confusing for first time user.
Lovely cabin and everything in good working order. Did think hot tub might need some attention though ...more water and some jets not working and a tad warmer?? The staff are very good but the whole booking process takes more time than I am used to spending on making similar reservations.
Timber Tops was GREAT to work with. Great people to talk with on the phone (Zeb was very helpful), clear and helpful information prior to the visit, and a great in-person check-in experience. (also love the pre-check-in option). I would love the pre-check-in option to somehow include the pool pass via a printable PDF or something similar.
Everything was as descibed by the office: great cabin, beautiful surroundings, we were even suprised to have bears visit us on our deck!! Downside: Directions to the cabin from the office ladies - way off. The Gatlinburg by-pass does not have an exit to the road we needed to take up the hill from town, as we were informed. We had to go and ask a Ranger at the Visitor's Station how to get to the road we needed.
Good
we had a very good experience. we brought 4 kids and 3 grandkids with us and very much enjoyed the bear footinn .. great overall experience
Great! The customer service when we arrived to check in was awesome. Everyone was so kind and had a servitude attitude. Thank you.
Great!
Cabin was clean and was nice. The only negatives would be the remote batteries were dead and there were ants in the cabin. Check in and check out were both quick and easy.
The house was great however there were a few things broken that would have made the experience better. Overall we had a great time
Excellent

We had a great stay. The owner of our booked cabin sold the week before our stay and TT made other arrangement and upgraded our cabin for the same price so we had a place to vacation. Cabin was clean and cozy.

We do our best to accommodate those situations and am very happy you liked our chosen cabin... We look forward to seeing you next time. Thank you,
I stayed at Bear Footinn with my boyfriend and another couple. It was fantastic. The cabin had comfortable beds, a steamy hot tub, and only 10 minutes from gatlinburg. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed to cook the entire time we were there. Will definitely be back!
Great! Able to meet our needs of not dropping in your office....able to check in and do all paperwork over the phone/fax! Had a visit from two bears and enjoyed the location of the house! Will visit again! Thanks!
Reservation service was great to work with. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 9. We really enjoyed having the pool table/gameroom to relax in the evening after our busy day. We wished we could have stayed longer.
we had an overall great experience! we loved the cabin, the fact that it had 3 private bedrooms and bathrooms with a common area. it made for a perfect experience for 3 couples to stay together. the cabin was short on some basic things like a bottle opener and a flat turner for flipping food on the stove. we made do, but it would have been nice for these basic items to be there. we also had trouble with the hot tub the first night not running. however, someone came out to fix it quickly once we called about it. it would have been nice to have more seating on the first level deck. we only had 3 chairs out there with 6 adults and 2 children. would have been nice to have a hammock or porch swing as well. we had a couple of rain days and commented on how nice it would have been to be able to lay down out there and listen to the rain while napping or reading.
Everything was pretty good but the cleaning was a little lacking. There were cobwebs on the up stairs lamps etc. Could consider leaving some salt and pepper and sugar in the cabin. The air hockey game had been removed and my grandsons loved playing it the last stay also just about all of the pool sticks were broken. I think only 1 was ok the others were broken or had missing tips.
Nice cabin could of used more seating on the deck
The cabin was clean inside and very big with lots of games in game room. However the porch/balconies had lots of spider webs on them when we first got there. Also on top level in the bathroon there was a few small bugs crawling on floor. The bed on top level was very comfortable also furniture in living room was very comfortable. Plenty of dishes, pot & pans for the family the kichen well equipped.
Very clean and nice will stay again
