Believe it or not, a vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains is a great way to stay healthy as we approach the holiday season. Typically, when people think of taking a vacation, they imagine heavy meals and lots of downtime, but when you visit the Smokies, this isn’t the case. When you stay here for a relaxing vacation in the Smoky Mountains, you can stay healthy and even improve your wellbeing. Here’s a few things you can do to make your vacation just a little more healthy:

1. Hiking in the Smoky Mountains

Hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a great way to get out and enjoy the outdoors while packing a little exercise into your vacation. Many people plan to spend at least one day in the national park, so go ahead and schedule some extra time to get out and explore!
